Getting to Rhode Island from Shirley
Providence is about 70 miles from Shirley, roughly 90 minutes on I-95. Newport adds another half hour, and the bridges out to Aquidneck Island are the part worth respecting on a summer Saturday. I arrive two and a half to three hours before guests, so a slow crossing costs me margin I already built in and costs your timeline nothing.

Yes, with no travel fee. Providence, Warwick, South County, and Newport all fall inside the 120 miles I cover from Shirley. Newport is the far corner of the state for me at about two hours, and that changes when I leave.
Which Rhode Island wedding venues have you played?
The Chanler at Cliff Walk, Belle Mer, Graduate by Hilton Providence, Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, and the Herreshoff Marine Museum are on the Rhode Island list. If your venue is somewhere else on the bay, name it and I will learn the room.
How do you work within Newport venue sound restrictions?
Several Newport mansion venues run sound restrictions and preferred vendor processes, and I have worked inside those before. I run sound myself from the first song to the last, so holding a set level or an outdoor cutoff is an adjustment, not a scramble.
How long is the drive from Shirley to Providence or Newport?
Providence is about 90 minutes and Newport about two hours once the bridges are counted. I arrive two and a half to three hours before guests, which on a Newport Saturday means leaving mid morning. The drive is mine to solve.
